AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Played in nine games for UNCP … Carried the ball 55 times for 345 yards and a pair of touchdowns … Led team with 6.1 rushing yards per attempt … Also caught five passes for 40 yards … Rushed for 96 yards (13 carries) in the season opener at Fayetteville State … Carried the ball eight times for 19 yards against Chowan, including a 2-yard scoring plunge in the third quarter … Logged six rushing attempts in the next two games against Wingate (15 yards) and Glenville State (19 yards) … Tallied one rushing attempt for seven yards in UNCP’s loss at Catawba … Turned in 111 all-purpose yards in the record-breaking win over Tusculum, rushing nine times for 105 yards, while also hauling in one pass for six yards … Performance against the Pioneers included a season-long 54-yard touchdown run in the second quarter … Rushed five times for 49 yards at Charleston (W.Va.), while also catching a pass (0 yards) as well … Hauled in a 12-yard pass at Carson-Newman, while also logging a trio of rushing attempts (-3 yards) … Rushed for 27 yards (four carries) at Newberry, and caught two passes for 22 yards, including a season-long 16-yard reception in the third quarter.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Played in eight games for UNCP … Rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns on 31 carries (4.3 avg.) … Also caught three passes for 40 yards (13.3 avg.) … As a special teams standout, returned six kickoffs for 113 yards (18.8 avg.) … Came off the bench to rush for 46 yards on five carries in the season opener with Fayetteville State, including a 14-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter … Also recorded a season-long rush of 23 yards in the fourth quarter … Did not record a carry at Wingate, but returned two kickoffs for 37 yards … Recorded both a rush (6 yards) and his first career reception (29 yards) in the home rout of Carson-Newman, as well as returned one kick for 21 yards … Recorded a season-high 15 carries for 49 yards and two touchdowns in his first career start against Fairmont State … Also returned one kick for 18 yards en route to a season-high 82 all-purpose yards … Scored on runs of one and nine yards against the Falcons … Recorded a season-long 27-yard kickoff return in the home contest with Concord.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Eastern Alamance High School for coach John Kirby … Rushed for 987 yards and 23 touchdowns as a prep senior, while also adding 165 receiving yards and one additional score, in leading Eagles to a 14-2 record and a spot in the state championship game … Earned third-straight all-conference and all-region laurels following senior season performance … Registered 807 rushing yards, 178 receiving yards and 12 total touchdowns (7 rushing, 3 receiving, 2 return) as a junior in pacing Eagles to a 12-2 mark and the second of three-straight conference championships … Was also an all-conference and all-region performer in track and field and baseball for Eastern Alamance.
