Braves, Lady Braves Hit Road For PBC Tournament

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The UNCP women's soccer team will travel to face second-seeded Armstrong Atlantic on Tuesday afternoon, while the men's soccer team will play later that evening at third-seeded Clayton State with the release of the men's and women's Peach Belt Conference Tournament brackets Sunday evening.

Fresh off a pivotal win over red hot North Georgia on Saturday afternoon in Dahlonega, Ga., the seventh-seeded Lady Braves (10-7-1) will battle the Lady Pirates (12-3-3) for the second time in 11 days, having dropped a 5-1 home decision to AASU on October 24 at Varsity Grounds. Match time has been set for 2 p.m. at AT&T Field and the match can be followed via a live audio/video stream, or a live statistics link, both of which will be provided by the AASU athletic department.

The sixth-seeded UNCP men (8-7-2) will make the trek to Morrow, Ga., for the second time this year, having lost a 3-0 decision to the Lakers on October 3. Tuesday's match time has been set for 5 p.m. at Laker Field. There will be no live statistics or live audio/video offered for the game.
