McEntire Named PBC Runner Of The Week

AUGUSTA, Ga. – UNCP’s Jesse McEntire was named the Peach Belt Conference’s Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of Sept. 4th, after leading the Braves to a first place finish at the 2007 Gamecock Invitational.

McEntire’s time of 16:20.74 was good enough for first place at the event with teammate Giovanni Bilotta earning second with a time of 16:41.02.

The Brevard, N.C. native would have finished ninth overall combining the Division II runners with the Division I runners.
