UNCP Softball Squad To Host Open Tryouts
PEMBROKE – The University of North Carolina at Pembroke softball team will be hosting open tryouts for the upcoming season later this month, head coach Lacinda Melanson announced Friday.
In order to participate in the tryouts, prospective
student-athletes must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours
for the fall semester at UNCP, and all must have proof of insurance
as well as proof of a physical examination within the past six
months.
Anyone interested must attend a meeting on Wednesday, August 18 in
the UNCP Softball office (Jones Center #1204) from 2:30 p.m.
– 3:15 p.m. Other necessary forms will be filled out at
the meeting with actual tryouts set to take place on Friday, August
20 from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the LRA Softball Field on
the UNCP campus.
