Weekend Softball Doubleheaders Rescheduled

GREENWOOD, S.C. – Saturday afternoon's regularly scheduled softball doubleheader between visiting UNCP and Lander has been rescheduled due to impending storms expected to make their way into western South Carolina overnight and into tomorrow. The twinbill will now be played on Monday in Greenwood with a time to be announced.

With the same storm system expected to make waves across the southeastern United States over the weekend, Sunday afternoon's regularly scheduled softball doubleheader between UNCP and fifth-ranked North Georgia has been rescheduled as well. Those games will now be played beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in Dahlonega, Ga.
