Was a three-time Greater Neuse River 4-A Conference Player of the Year and a four-time all-conference and all-region selection for Clayton High School… Finished in the top five at the North Carolina 4A state high school championship three times… Turned in runner-up finishes at the 4A Eastern Regional in 2008 and 2009 … Also an all-conference swimmer for the Comets… Ranked sixth in the Carolina Golf Association rankings … Placed second in both the Big "I" National Tournament in Ardmore, Okla., and the 2009 North Carolina Junior Championship … Member of the CGA and Tarheel Youth Golf Association’s North Carolina All-State First Team in 2009 and the second team in 2008.
