Déjà Vu! Moore Captures PBC Golfer Of The Week Honors

AUGUSTA, Ga. – On the heels of capturing her fourth career medalist honors with an 8-over-par 152 at the Wingate-hosted Ralph Hargett Memorial on Monday and Tuesday, junior Meghan Moore took home Peach Belt Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the second time in three weeks on Thursday.

Moore won her second event of the season as she shot back-to-back rounds of 76 to capture the Ralph Hargett Memorial Tournament, as well as a spot on the all-tournament team. She trailed Barry's Daniela Murray by two strokes heading into the final round, but rallied to make up that deficit and win by one with an 8-over-par 152. Moore has now won two of her last three tournaments and also has three other finishes inside the top-5 this season. Through nine events, she has booked eight top-10 finishes and leads the PBC with a 76.9 stroke average.

A two-year starter for the Lady Braves since transferring from East Carolina, Moore has tallied a 76.8 career stroke average through 40 rounds of golf for the Black & Gold, while also booking 17 top-20 finishes (20 total events), including 15 finishes inside the top 5.
