AS A JUNIOR (2011)
Named to the USTFCCCA All-Region Team, USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, PBC All-Conference Team, PBC All-Academic Team, Capital One Academic All-American, USTFCCCA Male Athlete of the Year for the Southeast Region, CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, PBC Presidential Honor Roll as a Bronze Scholar and PBC Runner of the Week for three-consecutive weeks (Sept. 6, Sept. 12, Oct. 3) … Named PBC Runner of the Year with his first PBC Individual Champion honor at the Peach Belt Conference Championships with a time of 25:11.93 to post the 10th fastest 8K time in school history and lead the Braves to a second place finish in the PBC … Set the school record in the 8K by four seconds at the Charlotte Invitational with a time of 24:24.20 for an overall third place finish out of 260 athletes and first among all NCAA Division II athletes … Finished the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championship as region champion (marking his fourth first-place finish this season) for the first time in his career with the second fastest 10K time in school history (30:55.5) to lead UNCP to a fifth place finish in the region … Opened the season by winning the Gamecock Invitational with a time of 15:07.29 in the 5K to make UNCP team champion at the race … Finished 25 seconds ahead of the second place finisher and 45 seconds ahead of the third place finisher on his way to posting his second-consecutive first-place finish of the 2011 season as he captured the eighth fastest 8K time in school history at the College of Charleston Invitational with a time of 25:04 to another first place finish to help UNCP finish the meet in third place … Took home a third place finish at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic with a time of 25:23.67 to send the time into the record books as the 13th fastest time in school history and lead UNCP to a seventh place finish as he was the first NCAA Division II athlete to cross the finish line … Due to winning the regional meet, he competed at the NCAA Division II National Championships and finished 125th overall with a time of 33:53.7 to mark the third appearance in the meet for the junior.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2010)
Garnered USTFCCCA all-academic, PBC all-conference all-academic honors as well as a spot on the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll as a Bronze Scholar … Named PBC Runner of the Week after breaking his own school record in the 8K with a time of 24.28.7 at the Augusta State Tri-Meet (Oct. 23, 2010) where he placed first to help the team grab first place honors … Holds eight top-20 finishes in the 8K with half set in the 2010 season … Took home a fourth place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships with new personal best time of 30:51.7 in the 10K to boost him to the NCAA Division II Championships where he finished 64th with a time of 32:02.3 … Started his season at the Great American Cross Country Invitational with a second place finish defeating schools at the Division I level with a time of 24:50.8 in the 8K to help the team grab second place honors … At the PBC Championships, he led the Braves with a third place finish in the 8K with a time of 25:12.4 and helped the team capture a second place finish … Finished 8th at the Royals Cross Country Challenge with a time of 24:35.3 … Finished his season five top-10 finishes and a trip to the national cross country meet for the second time in his career.
AS A FRESHMAN (2009)
Garnered All-American honors after placing 30th out of 182 runners at the NCAA II Cross Country National Championships in Evansville, Ind. … Recognized as the Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year while also being named to the USTFCCA All-Region Team … Named PBC Runner of the Week three times in his first collegiate year of competition while also being named to the PBC allconference first team … Was UNCP’s top finisher in all eight races and was the individual champion three times, his times qualifying him to compete in the National Championship Race … Opened his collegiate career with a 25:26.33 showing at the UNCP Invitational 5K on Sept. 5 ... Posted a 15:08.22 5K at the UNCW/Adidas Seahawk Invitational on Sept. 11 and a 25:15 8K at the ECU Pirates Invitational on Sept. 19 … Brought home a fourth place finish from the Great American Cross Country Invitational with a 24:35 8K and a third place finish from the Mount Olive Invitational 8K with 27:39 on Oct. 9 … Had a 24:57.00 showing at the Peach Belt Conference Championships on Oct. 24 to earn a second place finish as Freshman Runner of the Year … Ndhlovu’s time at the NCAA Southeast Regional meet (32:14 10K for a fifth place finish) was good enough to qualify him for the NCAA Championships 10K where he closed out his season with a 32:15.20.
