HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Morehead High School for coach Tyler Wozniak … Finished his senior season with a ninth place ranking in the state after turning in a 25-6 (.806) record … Also earned all-conference and academic all-conference laurels … Helped lead Panthers to a runner-up finish in the district … Was also a standout football player for Morehead.

PERSONAL: The son of Amanda and Allen Silvers was born on June 16, 1994 … Has two younger brothers, Zane and Trey, and one younger sister, Sierra … Graduated in the top 25 percent of his 500-member senior class at Morehead High School … A criminal justice major at UNCP.
