GREENSBORO – In just the fifth event in the inaugural season of the UNC Pembroke swimming and diving program, the Braves grabbed their first win in program history, a 78-63 triumph over host Greensboro Saturday afternoon.

Individual event results were not made available by Greensboro Saturday. UNCP fell to Sweet Briar to conclude Saturday's tri-meet.

The Black & Gold is back in action Thursday, heading to St. Andrews for a 3 p.m. dual meet at O'Herron Pool. The Knights have one win in six head-to-head contests this season.
