MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The UNCP volleyball squad made the long trek to Montevallo, Ala. on Saturday for a matchup with the Montevallo Falcons, and fell to the 15-25, 17-25 and 17-25.

The Lady Braves (18-10, 5-6 PBC), playing shorthanded due to multiple factors, never recorded a team hitting percentage above .065 in any of the three sets in registering a .020 attack percentage in the match. The Falcons (18-10, 9-2 PBC) on the other hand registered a team attack percentage of .274 in the victory.

Juniors Eman Al-Aswadi and Tiara Anderson led the UNCP stat line with six kills apiece, with Al-Aswadi using a .231 attack percentage on 13 attempts to register her kills while also adding four blocks on the defensive side of the net.

Heather Bolwerk registered 20 assists and 12 digs for UNCP, giving her a double-double on the afternoon. Bolwerk's 12 digs led her team while Allie Schneider, Marissa Baker and Caitlin Haworth each registered seven digs for the Lady Braves.

UNCP will be back in action on Monday night when they host Fayetteville State in a nonconference matchup at the English E. Jones Center in Pembroke at 7:00 p.m.
