2. Register with the NCAA Eligibility Center |

- Prospective student-athletes must have a paid certification account ($90 for domestic students; $150 for international students) to make an official visit with a NCAA Division I or II institution or to sign a National Letter of Intent (NLI)

3. Send official SAT and/or ACT scores to: |

4. Have your guidance counselor send a current copy of official, sealed transcripts to both UNC Pembroke and the NCAA Eligibility Center |
- If you have attended multiple high schools, each high school will need to send an official transcript to the NCAA Eligibility Center
|
5. Apply for financial aid and complete your FAFSA |

- FAFSA may be completed as soon as October of your senior year of high school
- The UNC Pembroke Federal School Code is 002954. Be sure to list UNC Pembroke on your FAFSA so that your aid can awarded

6. All newly-admitted students should pay their required non-refundable enrollment deposit as soon as they know UNC Pembroke is where they wish to attend |
- Deposit is $150 for those living off campus and $300 for those living on campus
- NOTE: Freshman are required to live on campus. The only exception are those who complete the Freshman Housing Waiver Application (PDF) and are granted an exception to the residency requirement

7. Apply for housing, pay the housing deposit and select a meal plan |

8. Register for New Student Orientation |
- New Student Orientation Registration
- Once student-athletes are enrolled in orientation, they will be pre-loaded into courses depending on their declared major
- During orientation, students can adjust their pre-loaded schedule to their personal preferences
- Students will receive Braves Card (Student ID) during New Student Orientation

9. Beginning April 1 of your senior year, log into your NCAA Eligibility Center portal and complete your amateurism questions. |
- Amateurism must be final certified by the NCAA in order to be eligible for competition.

10. After graduation, final high school transcripts should be sent to UNC Pembroke and the NCAA Eligibility Center. |
- High school guidance counselors should send UNC Pembroke and the NCAA Eligibility Center final high school transcripts no later than July 1.
|
11. On July 1, check your student account as it will have been updated to reflect your Fall semester balance. |
- Athletic financial aid is usually reflected on a student’s account in the last week of July.
- Athletic financial aid will not be posted to your account until you have been cleared by the NCAA Eligibility Center
- Pay student account balance or sign up for a payment plan by the first day of class. Failure to do so will result in being dropped from classes.

12. Complete the required Health/Medical Form and submit immunization records to Student Health Services |

13. Be sure to purchase a parking pass if you plan on parking a vehicle on campus. |
