FLORENCE, S.C. – The UNCP volleyball
squad opened up day two of the FMU Invitational in fine fashion
Saturday after earning a four-set victory over Erskine College to
lift their 2010 season record to 2-1 overall.
The Lady Braves earned the victory in four games with scores of
25-17, 16-25, 25-9 and 25-18.

The Lady Braves offense was led once again by junior Tiara Anderson and her 17 kills and .424 attack
percentage. The Gainesville, Fla., native also added five
aces, five digs, and two blocks on the defensive end.
Fellow junior Heather Bolwerk registered 44
assists in running the UNCP offense and added three aces of her own
and four digs in helping her team to achieve their second win of
the season.
Rebecca Morgan and Rachel Young
contributed eight and nine kills each, respectively, with Morgan
registering a .316 hitting percentage and Young attacking a .500
clip.
The Lady Braves will close out their action at the FMU Invite later
this afternoon with a matchup against Barton College at 5:00 p.m.
in Florence.
