"Today's game was a reflection of the brutal schedule we have gone through the last 10 days. We came out very flat, but the girls showed some real character today and simply refused to lose," said UNCP head coach Lars Andersson. "It wasn't pretty but we got the win in the end. I am incredibly proud of the team".

The Lady Braves will play their final regular season game at home on Saturday against PBC rival Columbus State (14-2-1, 7-2-1) at Varsity Grounds at 1 p.m. Admission into all 2012 home soccer games is free.
