PEMBROKE – Due to inclement weather that has continued to plague the southeastern United States, Wednesday's regularly scheduled baseball contest between 12th-ranked UNC Pembroke and Coker in Hartsville, S.C., has been postponed. A makeup date has not been announced.

The Braves (20-7, 9-6 PBC) will open up a nine-game home stand this weekend when they suit up to battle Peach Belt Conference rival Flagler (15-10, 7-8) in a three-game series at Sammy Cox Field. Fans attending Saturday's 1 p.m. series-opening doubleheader are invited to bring their dogs to the park as part of Bats & Dogs Day, and patrons can also take part in a game of Baseball Bingo as well.
