Entering into the final 20 minutes, Flagler pushed open its lead to six points, but UNCP used a 6-0 run to come from behind for the one-point lead on Kemp's tip-in. A four minute scoring drought and an 8-3 run stretched UNCP's lead to four points, but the Saints turned the tide with a nine-point swing to control a 49-44 lead with 12 seconds remaining. Despite the jumper by Jasmine Huntley, UNCP was unable to overcome the last deficit.
