The Braves took the lead for good with 55 seconds left in the period, while also toting a 29-27 edge into the locker rooms.
3RD QUARTER

Fayetteville State tacked up the final four points of the period to cut its deficit back to 41-37 heading to the final stanza.
4TH QUARTER
UNC Pembroke took their largest lead of the night, 56-45, off of two free throws from ShaNiya Lester with 5:44 on the clock, but the Broncos put together an 11-2 run to cut the deficit back to two points, 58-56, with 1:13 remaining. UNCP got a big 3-pointer from Tee Graham with 43 ticks left, and held on after a desperation 3-pointer from Chantel Williams sailed well wide of the net.
