HOW IT HAPPENED
1ST QUARTER
North Georgia scored the game's first 11 points of the game before Aliyah Farmer put the Braves on the board with two free throws at the 6:35 mark. Tee Graham trimmed the Braves deficit back to 12-5 on a fastbreak 3-pointer from the corner just 10 seconds later, but the Nighthawks answered by scoring eight of the period's final 10 points to take a 20-7 lead into the second quarter.
2ND QUARTER
The hosts used a 0-for-5 shooting performance from the Back & Gold to fuel a 6-0 scoring surge that stretched their lead out to 31-12 with 3-1/2 minutes left before the break. North Georgia led by as many as 23 points, 40-17, after a pair of free throws by Tamera Thorpe with 38 seconds remaining, but Tee Graham's 3-pointer 15 seconds later made it a 40-20 contest heading into halftime.
3RD QUARTER
Avery Locklear's bucket just more than a minute into the second half cut the deficit back to 43-22, but the Braves would manage just one other field goal in the third period. The Nighthawks scored 12-straight points to stretch their advantage out to 56-22, and then answered Aliyah Farmer's layup at the 4:38 mark with six more points to lug a 38-point cushion into the final quarter.
4TH QUARTER
