JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Jamar Adams advanced to the finals of the 200-meter Dash with a time of 22.18 seconds in Saturday's prelims to pace the UNC Pembroke track & field team on opening-day action of the East Tennessee State-hosted Buccaneer Invitational on Friday.
Adams, along with six other teammates, logged personal-best times in the 200-meter Dash. Adams and
Preston Coker both qualified for the finals that are set for tomorrow afternoon.
On the women's side,
Aly Hudspeth posted a fourth place finish in the High Jump with a new personal-best mark of 1.60 meters.
Quanterra Harrison qualified for the finals in the 60-meter Hurdles with a time of 9.31 seconds.
Results for the Men's Long Jump, Women's Weight Throw and Men's and Women's 5,000-meter Run are currently unavailable.
The Braves will wrap up their weekend competition on Saturday at the Buccaneer Invitational. The first event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
