Erman Jepleting shattered her own week-old school record by nearly six seconds on the way to a 15
th-place finish in the 800-meter Run and highlighted the action for the UNC Pembroke track & field teams at the Camel City Invitational on Friday afternoon.
Jepleting, who set the school record in the 800-meter run last weekend, ran a time of 2:18.97 to register a new personal best.
On the men's side,
Caleb Coles logged top-5 finishes in the high jump and long jump. Coles recorded a mark of 1.90-meters in the High Jump and a leap of 6.97 meters in the Long Jump that established a new personal best.
The Braves will close out the weekend events today on the final day of the Camel City Invitational. The first events are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
