MILLEDGEVILLE, GA. – The UNC Pembroke softball team put 18 hits into play and tallied up seven doubles in two games to help secure a conference sweep against Georgia College on Saturday afternoon at the Peeler Complex. UNCP captured game one 11-3 in five innings, and finished off the twinbill sweep with a 4-2 victory in game two.
The outcome for the Braves (15-7, 3-1 PBC) marks the first conference sweep of the season and the first sweep on the road since February 28. The setback for the Bobcats (5-19, 1-9 PBC) is the 10
th straight loss on their home field.
