PEMBROKE – With inclement weather expected to haunt North Carolina's weekend weather once again, the 18^th-ranked UNC Pembroke baseball team's regularly-scheduled Conference Carolinas series at Barton has been altered.
 
The Braves (33-10, 16-7) will now open their weekend set with the Bulldogs (23-17, 15-9) on Friday at 3 p.m., and close out the series with a noon doubleheader on Sunday. The weekend set was originally set for a Saturday/Sunday engagement.
 
This weekend's series will mark the final three games of the regular season road schedule for the Black & Gold who will return home, April 28-29, for a pivotal league series against Mount Olive.
