SAVANNAH, Ga. – The UNC Pembroke swimming team added three more additional NCAA B Standard times and took home three more events on Saturday against SCAD-Savannah and Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday at the Chatham County Aquatic Center. 

UNCP defeated SCAD-Savannah 67.0-58.0. The Black & Gold knocked off Lenoir-Rhyne 94.0-31.0. 

Sofia Pereira recorded her second NCAA B Standard time on the weekend with a time of 10:21.06 in the 1000-yard Freestyle. The Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, native also took top honors in the event as well. Britta Schwengle also tallied an NCAA B Standard time in the 1000-yard Freestyle with a time of 10:24.14 and finished in second place. 

Newcomer Fabiana Pesce picked up her second NCAA B Standard time on the weekend, this time in the 100-yard Freestyle with a time of 51.39. Pesce placed first in the event as well. 

The 400-yard Medley Relay team of Britta Schwengle, Ianna Gomez Veloz, Fatima Portillo, Fabiana Pesce stood at the top of the podium in the event beating the field with a time of 3:35.09.

The Braves will be back in action on Thursday for the four-day Queens Fall Frenzy. The meet will be held at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center in Charlotte, N.C.
