LYNCHBURG, Va. – The UNC Pembroke swim team logged a trio of top-10 finishes on Saturday for the second day of the Liberty-hosted TYR Invite inside the Liberty Natatorium.  

Newcomer Kennice Greene finished eighth in the 100-yard Butterfly with a time of 58.54, while Gabby Hyson touched the wall in a time of 58.66 in the event to finished ninth. Benedetta Pepe Pugliese logged a fifth place finish in the 400-yard Individual Medley with a time of 4:30.74. 

The 800-yard Freestyle Relay team of Kennice Greene, Britta Schwengle, Noelie Lacour, Sofia Pereira placed fourth with a time of 7:46.50.

The Braves will close out action at the TYR Invite on Sunday. Prelims are set to begin at 10 a.m.
