March 23, 2025

PEMBROKE  – Hard work in the classroom and on the court paid dividends for Kelci Adams, Natalie Evington, Stella Mollica and Anastasia Sinclair, who have all been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team on Wednesday.

The announcement marks the third consecutive season that the program has had multiple student-athletes honored on the distinguished list. However, the four honorees marked the most student-athletes on the list in the history of the program.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must start in 66 percent of the contests or see action in 90 percent of the total number of games. A student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at her current institution. The cumulative grade point average may not be rounded up to 3.50.

A native of Fort Mill, S.C., Adams becomes the first player in program history to earn the distinguished honor in three-straight season. Adams started in all 31 games and averaged 10.1 points and 7.3 rebounds this season. The graduate student became the program's all-time leading 3-point school record holder and is the newest member of the 1,000-point club. Adams departs Pembroke with 1,061 points, 659 rebounds, 175 assists and 102 steals.

A product of Red Springs, Evington provided a spark off of the bench this season and saw action in 29 games. The sophomore shot 41.7 percent from the field and made good on 39.6 percent of her attempts from the perimeter. Evington scored in double-figures five times this season, including a career-high 24 points against Barton. She also broke the school record for the most 3-pointers in a single game against Barton with eight.

Mollica started in all 31 games this season and averaged 35.5 minutes per game. The Mohnton, Pa., native, Mollica directed the offense and became the program's single season assists leader with 173 total assists on the season. The senior ranked seventh in the nation for overall assists and ninth for assists per game averaging 5.6 each outing. A third-team all-conference honoree, Mollica finished the season averaging 8.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.

A third-team all-conference selection, Sinclair started in 30 games this season and averaged a team-high 12.0 points per game.
