DUNCAN, S.C. – The UNC Pembroke softball team stranded six runners while recording four hits and fell 1-0 to Emmanuel in the first round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament on Friday evening at Tyger River Park.

The Lions would score the only run of the game after Vic Epps got the inning started with a single and moved around the bases. Emmanuel advances in winners bracket, as UNCP will move to the consolation bracket.
