JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The UNC Pembroke swim team picked up nine top-5 finished on Saturday to close out action at the North Florida-hosted Osprey Invite inside the UNF Competition Pool Complex. 

The 400-yard Medley Relay team of Noelie Lacour, Benedetta Pepe Pugliese, Fabiana Pesce, Kayla Smith placed fourth in the event with a time of 4:02.09, while the 400-yard Relay team of Noelie Lacour, Kayla Smith, Naekeisha Louis, Fabiana Pesce also placed fourth with a time of 3:35.94. 

Katie Raleigh finished fourth in the 200-yard Butterfly, while Noelie Lacour logged a fourth-place finish in the 50-yard Freestyle. Newcomer Kayla Smith placed fourth in the 100-yard Freestyle event, while Benedetta Pepe Pugliese also finished fourth in the 200-yard Breaststroke. 

The Braves will return to action on October 16 for the ECU Meet against East Carolina and UNC Asheville. The two-day meet will be held inside the Minges Natatorium in Greenville.
