KINGSPORT, Tenn. – The UNC Pembroke swim team won three of the four events on Thursday to remain in first place at the Conference Carolinas Championship inside the Kingsport Aquatics Center. 

Thursday's performance kept the Braves in first place with 312.5 points. Emmanuel currently is in second place with 232.5 points through Thursday's events. Montevallo is in third with 201 points.
 
The 200-yard Freestyle Relay team of Kennice Greene, Fabiana Pesce, Naekeisha Louis, Noelie Lacour broke the Conference Carolinas Meet Record in the event to claim top honors with a time of 1:34.53 to highlight Thursday's action. 
 
Britta Schwengle won the 500-yard Freestyle with an NCAA B Standard time of 5:01.41, while newcomer Noelie Lacour also posted an NCAA B Standard time in the 50-yard Freestyle beating out the competition with a time of 23.57.
 
Friday's action at the 4-day event inside the Kingsport Aquatics Center will get underway at 10 a.m. with the preliminary rounds of the 400-yard Individual Medley.
