Women’s Basketball Adds Patrick, George To Coaching Staff

PEMBROKE – Head women's basketball coach Dr. Kendra Samuels-Eaton announced the additions of Jade Patrick and Treasure George to the coaching staff for the 2026-27 season on Thursday afternoon. 
 
Both Patrick and George will serve as assistant coaches. 

"I am thrilled to announce the addition of Jade and Treasure to our coaching staff," said Samuels-Eaton. "Jade brings a wealth of experience and exceptional basketball IQ to our team. Treasure's background in junior college recruiting and player development, including her time at Baylor, will be invaluable. Their combined expertise will undoubtedly strengthen our program and propel us forward, and we warmly welcome them to the Pembroke family."
 
Patrick comes to Pembroke following a one-year stint as an assistant coach at Coker where he assisted in player development, recruiting and daily operations as the Cobras won the South Atlantic Conference Championship last season. A native of Nashville, Tenn., Patrick started his coaching career at Tennessee State as a graduate assistant for one season. He also made stops at Coahoma Community College and Motlow State Communuty College. Patrick earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from Lane College in 2018 and completed his master's degree in sports administration in 2022 at Tennessee State. 

"I'm incredibly thankful and excited for the opportunity to join UNC Pembroke women's basketball," said Patrick. "I'm grateful to Coach Kendra and the administration for believing in me and allowing me to be a part of what's being built here. I look forward to helping develop our players on and off the court, building meaningful relationships, and competing for championships. Excited to get to work and be a part of the Pembroke community."
 
George treks to Pembroke following one-year stint as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Ranger College. While at Ranger College, George helped with performance enhancement with guards and post players, while also overseeing traveling arrangements and strength and conditioning workouts. George began coaching in 2023 as a volunteer coach at Harrisburg High School following by a year as a graduate assistant coach at Baylor. She earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science human performance & fitness from Shippensburg in 2023. She is currently working on her master's degree from Baylor in sports management.

"I want to thank everyone who has believed in me and continues to support me throughout this journey. I'm excited to grow, lead, and make an impact on the lives of these student-athletes both on and off the court, let's make this season unforgettable Go Braves!"
