AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2019-20): Posted a 5-7 (.417) record, including a 3-1 mark in tournament settings … Tallied one pin … Finished in the runner-up position at the Newberry Open … Picked up dual meet wins against Fort Hays State and New Mexico Highlands … Won his first three matchups at the Newberry Open before falling to Appalachian State’s Caleb Smith in the championship bout.

AS A FRESHMAN AT NEWBERRY (2017-18): Redshirted … Competed in Newberry Open as unattached wrestler … Registered a 1-2 record … Picked up first collegiate victory with a 13-6 decision over Alessandro Araujo of Queens on the way to making a trip to the podium (fourth).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Marlboro County High School for coach Herrod David … Earned all-state accolades following each of his last two prep seasons, while also picking up his team’s most outstanding wrestler award … Was also a state qualifier in track & field (4x400 Relay) for the Bulldogs, and also broke a state weightlifting record.
