AS A SOPHOMORE (2014)

Helped UNCP to earn the 2014 PBC Softball Sportsmanship Award … As an outfielder, she played in 46 games and started in 45 for UNCP … Posted the highest batting average on the team of .343, had a team-high with 34 runs, 47 hits, seven doubles, two triples and one homer … Had 13 RBI on 137 at-bats … Was 5-for-8 in stolen base attempts … Notched team-high .441 on-base percentage, a slugging percentage of .445 and a fielding percentage of .957 … Recorded 63 putouts and four assists … Totaled a 61 total bases and five sacrifice hits … Walked a team-high 21 times during the year … Went 4-for-4 against Pfieffer on April 9, 3-for-4 against Coker on February 22, 3-for-3 against St. Andrews on February 20, Georgia Southwestern on March 9, 2-for-3 against GRU Augusta on March 21, Pfeiffer on April 9 and 2-for-2 against Limestone on March 4 … Logged not only her first career homerun, but her first collegiate grand slam as she went 3-for-3 with five RBI in the second game against Georgia Southwestern for the 17-5 victory … Scored game-winning run against Mount Olive on February 17, Bellarmine on March 2 and Flagler on April 12 … Crossed home plate a season-best four times against Georgia Southwestern … Had a shared second team best 10 multiple hit games, one multiple RBI games and a team-high 10 game hitting streak.
AS A FRESHMAN (2013)
A member of the PBC Presidential Honor Roll … In the infield and outfield, she played in 40 games and started in 29 games for UNCP … Posted a .270 batting average, had 18 runs and 20 hits … Also had three RBI on 74 at-bats … Was 6-for-7 in stolen base attempts … Notched the fourth-best on base percentage of .333, a slugging percentage of .270 and .823 fielding percentage … Recorded 32 putouts and 19 assists … Totaled 20 total bases and two sacrifice hits … Walked six times during the year … Went 2-for3 against West Liberty on March 12 and 2-for-2 against Georgia College on March 16 and USC Aiken on March 29 … Logged a season best two RBI in the 4-1 victory against Augusta State.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Farmville Central High School under coach Sean Talbott … A letterman in softball and volleyball … Received 2008-09 all-conference honorable mention honors, was named the 2009-10 MVP and all-conference and the 2011-12 Coaches Award and Player of the Year accolades for the Eastern Plains Conference … In her senior year, she helped the Jaguars to a 15-8 record with a .545 batting average, 47 RBI, 16 stolen bases, five home runs and a .975 fielding percentage … In the circle, she pitched 152 innings and totaled a 1.18 ERA with 146 strike outs … As a junior, the team notched an overall record of 17-5 with Jackson registering a .567 batting average, 18 stolen bases, a .955 fielding percentage, 1.07 ERA and 126 strikeouts in the 148 innings pitched … Earned Offensive Player of the Year and was named all-conference for her performance … Also played for the Pitt County Girls Softball League under coach Charlie Langley and won the Golden Glove in 2009 in the 16 and under Babe Ruth World Series.
