AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2017-18): First team all-ECAC selection … Compiled a 25-10 (.714) record, including a 16-3 clip in dual meets … Recorded 11 bonus-point victories, including six pins, one technical fall and four major decisions … Went 16-5 against NCAA Division II competition … Finished runner-up at the Pembroke Classic … Posted a 3-1 record at that event, but fell to NC State’s Nick Reenan in championship bout … Tallied a perfect 6-0 record in conference action … Captured last 12 dual meet matchups of the season, including nine that went for bonus points … Went 0-2 at NCAA Midwest Super Regional, including a 5-3 decision to fourth-ranked Bradley Metz of Findlay, as well as a one-point loss in consolation action.
 
AS A JUNIOR (2016-17): Medical redshirted … Competed in two tournaments, but suffered season-ending injury at Star City Open … Compiled a 5-3 (.625) record, including one win by pin and another by technical fall … Went 0-2 against NCAA Division II competition ... Earned a trip to the podium at both tournaments … Posted a 2-2 record and finish fifth at the Pembroke Classic … Tacked up a 3-1 record at the Star City Open, but was injured in the first period of the championship matchup with Spartanburg Methodist’s Evan Makupson.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-16): Compiled a 17-11 (.607) record, including a 14-6 mark in tournaments … Tallied eight bonus-point victories, including three pins, two technical falls and three major decisions … Went 11-6 against NCAA Division II competition … Earned a trip to the podium at three tournaments … Rebounded from a first-round loss with six-straight wins in the consolation bracket on the way to a runner-up finish at The Citadel Open … Logged a 4-2 record and finished fourth at the Pembroke Classic … Tallied a perfect 4-0 record in taking championship honors at the Newberry Open … Recorded dual meet wins against Belmont Abbey, Spartanburg Methodist and Cumberland.
 
AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14): Compiled an 8-9 (.471) record, including a 7-7 mark in tournament settings … Tallied three pins and one major decision … Went 5-3 against NCAA Division II competition … Placed third at the Pembroke Classic … Registered a 5-1 mark at the Pembroke Classic, including his first collegiate victory – a 6-4 decision over Appalachian State’s Aaron Dickson … Recorded a second-period pin over Belmont Abbey’s Brandon Wilkins for his first dual meet win.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Page High School for coach Cliff Thompson … Turned in a 52-5 (.912) record as a prep senior … Finished fifth at the state tournament and was named team’s most outstanding wrestler … Tallied a 32-8 (.800) mark as a junior … Also lettered in soccer for the Pirates.
