AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15):

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Southern Guilford High School for coach Felix Boggan … Recorded a 32-1 record as a prep senior and finished runner-up at the state tournament … Also earned all-conference accolades and won the region title … Earned NHSCA all-American honors as a junior after registering a 40-8 record … Finished third at the region tournament en route to qualifying for the state tournament … Also lettered in track & field for the Storm … Won the region title in the 100-meter dash and was a state qualifier in the 200-meter dash.

PERSONAL: The son of Jessica Lucas and Michael Jones … Has a younger brother, Abraham … A criminal justice major at UNCP.
