BEFORE UNCP: Played three seasons at Walters State Community College … Redshirted in first year with the club … Played in 61 games as a sophomore … Posted a .286 batting average in 175 at-bats with 42 runs scored on 50 hits, including 13 extra-base hits (2 HR), and 28 RBI … Also drew 24 walks and was 11-for-13 on stolen base attempts … Tacked up 15 multiple-hit and four multiple-RBI outings … Played in 59 games as a freshman and helped lead Walters State to a third place finish at the NJCAA World Series … Posted a .293 batting average in 82 at-bats with 26 runs scored on 24 hits, including eight doubles, and nine RBI … Also drew 18 walks and was 6-for-8 on stolen base attempts.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Tuscola High School for coach Caleb McConnell … Earned all-conference laurels after each of last three prep seasons … Hit .430 with three home runs as a senior.
