HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at North Johnston High School for coach and former UNCP wrestler Jonathan Hartley … Compiled a career record of 136-46 (.747), including an appearance at the state tournament as a sophomore … Turned in a 39-4 mark as a junior en route to the first of two team most valuable wrestler laurels.

PERSONAL: The son of Angela and Nicholas Zamudio … Has a brother, Enrique, and three sisters – Monique, Mariana and Yiecenia … Maintained a 3.1 cumulative grade point average at North Johnston High School … A criminal justice major at UNCP.
