Season bests: Javelin (34.49m) … Logged a runner-up finish in the Javelin at the Braves Track Classic … Scored points at the PBC Championship with a third place showing in the Javelin.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-16)

Outdoor
Season bests: Javelin (31.98m), Discus (19.37m) … Scored points at the PBC Championship with a fifth place finish in the Javelin … Also placed fifth in the Javelin at the Aggie Invitational.

PRIOR TO  TRACK & FIELD
Competed for two seasons (2013-15) as a member of the tennis team … Compiled a 9-11 record in singles play, all during her sophomore season with the Braves … Tallied a 10-16 record in doubles action, including a 7-12 clip as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Swansboro High School under coach Jim Sheehan … A four-year letterman in tennis and softball, and a three-year letterman in basketball … Held an 18-1 record at No. 1 singles her senior year … First player from Swansboro High to qualify for the NCHASAA 2-A state championship four-consecutive years … Named to all-conference and all-region teams all four years and earned the MVP award … Won the conference tournament twice and the regional tournament once.

PERSONAL
The daughter of Ellen and Jim Sheehan … Ranked 43rd out of her 226-member senior class with a weighted 3.9 grade point average … Was the secretary of the National Honor Society, a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, anchor for the school news and a member of the yearbook staff … Her cousin Kari Morrison plays lacrosse at Virginia Tech, while her other cousin Tripp Sheehan is a member of the men’s soccer team at Westminster College … A mass communications major at UNCP.
