HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at West Wilkes High School for coach Drew Ward … Earned second-straight all-conference and all-county accolades as a senior after hitting .333 with four home runs, 28 RBI and 15 stolen bases … Also registered a .984 fielding percentage … Hit .348 with two home runs, 29 RBI and 17 stolen bases as a junior … Was also an all-conference selection in football for the Blackhawks … Also captained the basketball team.
