Season bests: 50 Free (26.08), 100 Free (56.55), 100 Breast (1:08.51), 200 Breast (2:34.53), 200 IM (2:19.75)
Mountain East Conference Champion (200 Medley Relay) ... All-Mountain East Conference (100 Breast, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay) ... Won three individual event titles, including two in the 100 Breast … Also won the event title in the 100 Free at the dual meet with Columbia … Posted school records in the 200 Breast in tri-meet with Lenoir-Rhyne and Mars Hill, as well as a month later at the Fall Frenzy Invitational … Swam a leg on four relay teams as well, including three that posted school records … Occupied second leg on 200 Medley Relay team that finished third with a school-record performance at the Mountain East Conference Championships … Swam final leg on record-breaking performance by 200 Free Relay squad at Guilford Invitational … Swam third leg as 400 Free Relay turned in a school-record time at Fall Frenzy Invitational … Served as second leg on 800 Free Relay team that broke school record at both the Fall Frenzy Invitational and the dual meet with St. Andrews.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at E.E. Smith High School for coach Wesley Steffen … Qualified for state championships as a senior after finishing third in the 100 Breaststroke at the 3A Eastern Regional … Named area swimmer of the year by the Fayetteville Observer … Earned most valuable swimmer recognition from the PAC Conference, while also picking up her team’s coaches’ award … Finished fifth in the 100 Breaststroke at the NC Star Tarheel States with a season-best time of 1:09.44.
 
PERSONAL: The daughter of Jane and Scott Morden … Has two brothers, Matthew and Stephen, and five sisters – Danielle, Chelsea, Jenny, Mary and Julie … Maintained a 3.7 cumulative grade point average at E.E. Smith High School and graduated in the top 10 percent of her 197-member senior class … Lists working out as one of her hobbies … Favorite movie is Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith … Favorite food is sushi … A biomedical major at UNCP.
