Tailgating Policies

4:30 Clock

Fans may tailgate beginning 4-1/2 hours prior to kickoff.

Fans wishing to tailgate must do so in the tailgate lot across University Drive and adjacent to the English E. Jones Center. Parking spaces are $5 per space for students, and $5 for the general public and visiting fans.
Icon_Glass Bottles

Kegs and glass bottles and containers are NOT permitted in UNCP Tailgate Zone.
21 Plus_icon

Patrons wishing to consume alcohol MUST have an age identification wristband (21+). Wristbands are available in Lot 14.
Grill Icon

Grilling (gas or charcoal) is permitted inside the UNCP Tailgate Zone.
Deep Fry Icon

Deep frying using oil or grease is NOT permitted in the UNCP Tailgate Zone.
Icon Trash Can

Tailgaters are responsible for properly disposing of coals, trash, etc.
Icon Police

UNCP Campus Police officers will be stationed near designated tailgate areas to ensure the safety of tailgaters and enforce state laws if violations occur.
Stadium Icon

Fans may NOT tailgate during the game or at halftime. Once the game begins, fans must enter Grace P. Johnson Stadium or vacate the UNCP Tailgate Zone.
