COVID-19 Safety Protocols

The University of North Carolina at Pembroke is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all fans attending events on our campus. In accordance with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and University of North Carolina at Pembroke COVID-19 guidelines, the below policies are currently in effect for all UNCP Athletics events:
Icon Alert

Be advised that all spectators assume the inherent risks associated with attending an athletics event during a pandemic, including possible exposure to COVID-19. All spectators are required to fully comply with institutional, local, and state requirements and guidelines.
Icon Stadium

Guidelines from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services do not limit venue capacity or require physical distancing between individuals. However, UNCP athletics department officials have capped attendance at indoor events at 75 percent of listed capacity.
No Mash No Entry Icon

All individuals - regardless of vaccination status - are required to wear a mask or face covering that fully covers both the mouth and nose while indoors. The lone exception is when an individual is actively eating or drinking. The indoor facial covering requirement includes indoor areas of predominantly outdoor venues as well, including restrooms and elevators.
UNCP Mask

All individuals are strongly encouraged to wear a mask or facial covering while outdoors in large public areas. Large outdoor public areas include open air concourses, exterior entry/exit gates, parking lots, seating areas, etc.

UNCP Athletics has enacted a digital ticketing system in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tickets are required for attendance at baseball, basketball and football contests, while admission at all other home athletic events is free. Visit UNCPBraves.com/Tickets for more information.

Due to the uncertain nature of COVID-19, please note that athletic competition schedules are subject to change. In the event any games are canceled due to COVID-19 and not rescheduled, or if games are played under conditions that prohibit fans from attending, ticket holders will be provided with options in response to these changes.

Our staff is working closely with government & campus officials to monitor guidelines
and will adjust policies as needed.
