2023 NCBWA Division II Top 25 (Week 10 - April 19)

Top 3 Teams Remain The Same In NCBWA Division II Top 25

PEMBROKE, N.C. – The top tier of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division II Top 25 remained the same for the eighth-straight week on Wednesday afternoon as defending national champion North Greenville reeled in 19 of the 20 available first-place votes to stake claim to No. 1, while Angelo State and Tampa occupied the Nos. 2 and 3 positions, respectively.

The Crusaders occupiued the top spot in the ranking for the 14th-straight week, and slightly expanded their lead over the Rams despite both squads absorbing losses last week. Angelo State snagged the lone remaining first-place vote in Wednesday’s ranking as well.

Young Harris, who made their program debut in the NCBWA Top 25 just two weeks ago, is this week’s biggest mover as the Mountain Lions leapt 11 spots to No. 11 following a five-win week that included a road series sweep of Peach Belt Conference foe USC Beaufort.

West Florida crept back into Wednesday’s poll at No. 22 after a 7-week absence, while Seton Hill checked in at the No. 24 position – its first appearance in the NCBWA Top 25 since Week 9 (April 13) of last season.
