AS A JUNIOR (2017): Saw action in 20 games from the hill, all in relief … Posted a 2-1 record and a 3.19 ERA in 36.2 innings pitched with 37 strikeouts and 18 walks … Held opponents to a .304 batting average … Allowed just one earned run in his first four appearances and 8.2 innings of work … Picked up the win in relief in the series finale against Lake Erie after striking out three and allowing just one hit and one unearned run in four innings of work … Struck out a season-best five batters in 4.1 innings of relief in the series finale with Augusta, but was not awarded a decision … Struck out one in a scoreless inning of work at Barton to signal a string of seven-straight appearances (11.1 IP) in which he did not allow an earned run … Struck out four over 2.1 innings in the series-opening victory at Flagler … Allowed just a lone unearned run in three innings of work at Barton to grab his second victory of the campaign.
