AS A JUNIOR (2011)
Began the season with 8-2/3 innings of scoreless relief in which he struck out 11 and yielded just six hits … Struck out four and allowed one hit in his season debut in the series opener with Anderson … Grabbed the win with three strikeouts and three scoreless innings of relief at Coker … Struck out three and allowed two hits and one earned run (first of season) over two innings in his lone start of the season against Coker at home … Struck out four and surrendered just one hit in three innings of relief in the series opener at Lander (no decision) … Earned the win by striking out a pair of batters in 1-2/3 innings of hitless relief in game two of the series with Flagler … Struck out two and grabbed another win with three hitless innings of relief in the series opener with USC Aiken … Struck out four and allowed one hit in 2-2/3 innings in game two at Columbus State (no decision) … Struck out three and surrendered one hit in two innings of work in the series finale with Georgia College … Earned his lone save of the campaign with one inning of hitless relief against St. Augustine’s … Struck out three in a one-inning stint in the nightcap of the doubleheader with Chowan, while striking out four and allowing one hit in two innings of work at Barton … Struck out three and yielded three hits in 4-1/3 innings of relief work in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament … Performance included a semifinal appearance against Armstrong Atlantic in which he struck out one and allowed one hit in an inning from the hill.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2010)
Saw action in 16 games on the mound, all of which came in relief … Posted a 2-1 record and a team-best 1.64 ERA in 22.0 innings pitched with 28 strikeouts and seven walks … Held opponents to a .192 batting average … Also combined for one shutout … Averaged 11.45 strikeouts per nine innings … Held left-handed hitters to a paltry .176 (3-for-17) batting average … Inherited nine runners over his 16 relief appearances and allowed just two (.222) to score … Struck out two batters in each of his first four appearances, all of which were one-inning stints … Scattered two hits and struck out two in 1-2/3 innings of relief en route to picking up his first collegiate victory at Wingate … Recorded the final two outs of a walk-off victory against Francis Marion to tally his second victory of the season … Struck out five and yielded just two hits in 2-2/3 innings of a home outing against Wingate … Struck out four in two innings of relief against Belmont Abbey.

AS A FRESHMAN AT BRYAN (2009)
Saw action in 43 games at third base … Tallied a .342 batting average in 111 at-bats with nine runs scored on 38 hits, including six extra-base hits (1 HR) and 14 RBI … Booked 13 multiple-hit games and two multiple RBI games … Turned in a 5-for-9 (.556) series against Covenant with a walk and a double … Logged two RBI against both Indiana Wesleyan (2-for-4) and Tennessee Wesleyan (3-for-4) … Turned in lone home run of the season on a 1-for-2 hitting line against Tennessee Wesleyan earlier in the season … Made 13 appearances on the mound … Posted a 1-1 record and an 8.53 ERA … Struck out six in an appearance against Cumberland College and in two separate appearances against the University of the Cumberlands … Averaged 7.39 strikeouts per nine innings … Earned the win with one inning of relief work against Urbana … Worked a season long 7-2/3 innings against the University of the Cumberlands, but was not awarded a decision despite allowing just two earned runs.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
A two-time all-conference selection and team most valuable player honoree at Metrolina Christian Academy for coaches Henry Leopard and Ronnie Plyler … Played travel ball with the Charlotte Megastars … Earned all-state accolades as a prep junior after posting a .550 batting average … Hit .400 as a senior and helped lead the Warriors to the conference tournament championship … Served as team captain with the Megastars and hit .375, while also turning in a 3-1 record from the mound, in last season of competition … Helped lead travel ball squad to a third place finish at the USC Showcase tournament … Also lettered in basketball and soccer at Metrolina Christian.
