Queens (2/4): Earned first start of season, but was not awarded a decision despite striking out a season-high seven batters and allowing just two hits (3 R, 1 ER) in 3-1/3 innings of work.
Lock Haven (2/8-9): Logged a relief stint in game one of the series-opening twinbill … Inherited a bases-loaded situation in the third, and closed out the frame with a walk and a strikeout (no decision) … Retired the next four batters he faced in order and exited the game following the fifth.
Columbus State (2/14-16): Saw the first of four-straight starts in game one of the series … Took his lone loss of the season despite allowing five hits and a pair of earned runs in five innings of work … Also struck out three.
USC Aiken (2/22-23): Took the hill for game one of the series and notched first win of the season with a quality start … Struck out five and scattered seven hits across a season-high 91 pitches and seven innings from the hill … Allowed just one earned run … Faced five or less batters in his first four innings of work.
Claflin (2/28-3/1): Earned the win and a combined shutout in game one of the series … Threw 87 pitches, struck out six and allowed just two hits through the first five innings of the contest before giving way to Brandon Winstead … Retired the first five batters he faced before allowing a single and a walk in the secod.
