A former All-Conference Carolinas selection as a relief pitcher, Chase Jernigan joins the UNC Pembroke baseball staff for his first season in 2024-25.
Jernigan made 58 career appearances for the Black & Gold, logging a 3.69 ERA in 119.2 innings pitched, to go along with 10 wins and 12 saves. Jernigan struck out 135 batters and held opponents to a .237 batting average.
The Fayetteville native was selected to the 2024 All-Conference Carolinas 2nd Team as a reliever, as well as the 2024 Conference Carolinas All-Tournament Team. Jernigan was also a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree and a three-time Academic All-Conference selection.
Jernigan graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2023, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Sports Administration from UNCP.
