AS A FRESHMAN (2018): Saw action in five games from the mound, including one start … Logged a 0-0 record and a 10.50 ERA in six innings pitched with five strikeouts and two walks … Held opponents to a .346 (9-for-26) batting average … Did not register a defensive opportunity … Made first appearance of season at Coker, striking out one and allowing two hits in an inning of relief work … Threw a season-high 27 pitches in game two at Georgia College … Hurled an inning of scoreless relief in the series finale with USC Aiken … Also struck out two and yielded one hit in a scoreless inning of relief in the series finale with St. Augustine’s.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at North Johnston High School for coach Brian Ford … Earned second-straight all-conference and all-state laurels as a senior after registering a .493 batting average, as well as a 9-3 record from the mound.
 
PERSONAL: The son of Debra and Dale Radford … Has two older brothers, Dale Jr. and Daniel … Maintained a 3.9 cumulative grade point average at North Johnston High School and graduated in the top 15 percent of his 200-member senior class … A criminal justice major at UNCP.
