BEFORE UNCP: Played two seasons (2014-15) at Southeastern CC in Whiteville … Saw action in 15 games as a sophomore, including 14 starts … Posted a 6-3 record and a 2.77 ERA in a team-best 97-1/3 innings of work with 94 strikeouts and 48 walks … Ranked second in NJCAA in innings pitched and third in strikeouts … Also tallied three complete games … Struck out seven or more batters in seven of his appearances … Turned in a season-best nine strikeouts in consecutive starts against USC Salkehatchie and Muskegon, as well as a late season start against Patrick Henry … Saw action in 11 games as a freshman, including one start … Posted a 3-1 record and a 2.80 ERA in 64-1/3 innings pitched with 57 strikeouts and 22 walks … Also tacked up one complete game … Picked up first collegiate win after scattering four hits and five strikeouts across seven innings at Surry … Struck out a season-best 10 batters and surrendered just five hits in eight innings against New River (win).

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at South Columbus High School … Earned all-region and all-conference honors as a senior … Also nominated for the Wendy’s High School Heisman award.

PERSONAL: The son of Wendy McMillan and Wrenn Bullock … Has an older brother, Garrett … Maintained a 3.38 cumulative grade point average at South Columbus High School and graduated in the top 30 percent of his 147-member senior class … A health promotions major at UNCP.
