HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at St. Pauls High School for coach Kelly Chavis … Earned all-state, all-conference and county player of the year laurels as a senior after posting an 8-1 record and a 0.55 ERA … Logged 53 strikeouts in nine appearances and held opponents to a .177 batting average … Also hit .307 with 21 RBI and 24 runs scored, and stole 19 bases as well … Also picked up all-conference and all-county recognition as a junior after posting a .396 batting average and a 6-3 record on the mound … Also lettered in basketball and football for the Bulldogs.
