Went 1-2 with an RBI and collected his first collegiate hit on Opening Day against Saint Anselm on February 3 ... Went 3-4 with a double and RBI against Francis Marion ... Also made nine appearances on the mound with two starts ... Logged a 2-0 record and added one save ... Threw 17.1 innings, allowing 12 hits, and striking out 22 ... Held opponents to a .200 batting average ... Recorded his first collegiate win with two shutout relief innings against Shepherd on February 26 ... Got the win against Lake Erie, going 5 IP and allowing only two hits, one earned run, and striking out 10.

HIGH SCHOOL

Prepped at Eastern Alamance High School for coach Caleb Robinson … Earned second consecutive All-Conference and All-State nods as a senior after making 11 appearances and registering a 3-1 record and a 0.99 ERA in 41.1 innings pitched with 73 strikeouts … Also hit .423 (33-for-78) with five extra-base hits and eight RBI … Struck out 35 batters in 19 innings pitched as a junior.
