AS A JUNIOR AT LANDER (2015): Saw action in 12 games from the mound, including 10 starts … Posted a 4-3 record and a 4.97 ERA in 50-2/3 innings pitched with 31 strikeouts and 23 walks … Also tallied a complete game shutout … Held opponents to a .271 batting average … Struck out six and yielded just two hits in six innings of work at Claflin, but did not pick up a decision … Earned first win of season a week later against Claflin at home, striking out four and allowing just one hit in five innings from the hill … Earned NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week, NCBWA Region Pitcher of the Week and Peach Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week laurels after logging a no hitter against Young Harris with eight strikeouts and two walks … Also earned league victories at Augusta and against North Georgia at home.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE AT PITT CC (2014): Saw action in 11 games from the mound, including six starts … Posted a 3-0 record and a 3.46 ERA in 39 innings pitched with 25 strikeouts and 13 walks … Also tallied a complete game … Held opponents to a .230 batting average.
 
AS A FRESHMAN AT WINSTON-SALEM STATE (2013): Saw action in 12 games from the mound, including nine starts … Posted a 6-0 record and a 3.02 ERA in 50-2/3 innings pitched with 47 strikeouts and 13 walks … Also tallied one complete game … Held opponents to a .238 batting average … Earned first collegiate win after striking out six and allowing three runs (two earned) in five innings of work against West Liberty … Struck out three and scattered five hits across six innings from the hill against Claflin (win) … Struck out three and yielded a lone hit in three innings of work against Shaw (win) … Struck out a season-best 10 batters and earned the win with six scoreless innings from the mound against Lincoln … Earned wins in back-to-back starts against Elizabeth City State (5.0 IP) and Virginia State (6.0 IP).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Fuquay-Varina High School for coach Milton Senter … Earned all-conference accolades as a senior after tallying a 5-4 record with a pair of shutouts … Also lettered in cross country for the Bengals.
